Better than Business as Usual 4: Neighborhoods & Communities

BAU: Higher income = larger lot & bigger house. Workforce = fewer affordable choices and longer commutes. Housing supply and future demand are mismatched. Community design that makes it harder for people to be healthy.

Better: A greater diversity of appropriate and affordable housing choices for the households expected in the future. Neighborhoods that offer these choices in healthy, distinctive communities all over the region.
