NORTH TEXAS MIXED USE CENTERS

Mixed use centers exist in many types and come in various sizes and configurations. They are presented below as a mapping application. Use the zooming and navigation tools to the left to move around. Click on an asterisk for details about the centers that have been identified so far.  Or click on the map to propose a new mixed use center.

HOW TO COMMENT ON EXISTING CENTERS

FIRST STEP: Select a current center (asterisk) on the map.  A window will appear with information about the center.
SECOND STEP: Then click on the ‘Submit a Comment’ link.  Use the form to add your comments.
THIRD STEP: Click ‘submit’ to send your comments to us.

HOW TO PROPOSE A NEW CENTER

FIRST STEP: Click anywhere on the map at the central point of the site that you would like to suggest. A placemarker will appear at that location. You can drag the placemarker to make adjustments to its location, or right click it to remove it.
SECOND STEP: Click the placemarker to open a new window.  Use this information form to add the pertinent information about that center. Please provide as much information as possible and be sure to include your contact information.
THIRD STEP: Click ‘submit’ to send your comments to us.

Here's the color scheme for distinguishing each type of mixed-use center. There are many community and neighborhood centers in the southern parts of the region as well as elsewhere.  To see these centers, zoom in closer on the map.

Red Asterisk = Regional Center, Blue Asterisk = Metropolitan Center, Orange Asterisk = Community Center, brown asterisk = Neighborhood Center
